Mindef's Webmaster & PR? Apa dah jadi?

The unfortunate/tragic aircraft crash that killed both pilot and co-pilot (Maj Mohd Zulkifli Hassan and Maj Mohd Roszaini Mustafa) happened on Friday noon. They were both buried on Saturday. Malaysians read the sad news online or in the papers.

We all shared their families' sorrow. But i somehow bit disappointed, sad to say that the incident was not covered in the Ministry of Defence (Kementerian Pertahanan) official web portal HERE. No news on the crash and not even the condolence message or Al-Fatihah (flashing whatsoever) from the portal or MOD - Minister/KSU etc to the families (mind you, nothing highlighted even after 3 "working" days!) <<<--- macam nak clear cek pulak...

Let us recite/offer Al-Fatihah to both Arwah Mejar. Let us pray for them and may Allah shower blessings and forgiveness upon them. Al-Fatihah.

Hanif tanya kenapa panggil Uncle tu Kapten Popeye? Saya kata, nampak je Kapten kecik tapi badan keras liat, dia komando, bawah dia ramai orang pelbagai pangkat, dia ketua. Hanif kena jadi macam Uncle.

leech farming (ternakan lintah)

leech farming, anyone?

come join me on a tour to a leech farm (ternakan lintah) in Jugra, Banting -- very near to Pasukan Khas Udara (PASKAU) camp - special commando unit for Royal Malaysian Air Forces (RMAF) & also Maahad Tahfiz Sains Selangor. for info, leech is best used for medicine (thru hirudin -- active substance in leech saliva) and also for the cosmetic industry (ehem ehem..sama juga dengan cacing..)

let's guess, why fence with corrugated zinc, not normal fencing...?
pond size - 20'x60'x3' each. start-up investment cost (total & complete) for 10 ponds is RM50k ++.

harga jual lintah= RM60/kg. with 10 ponds in hand, you may sell at least 100kg/month (hmmm lazat tu...), kalau nak banyak sikit bulan tu, cedok le 200kg. kerja 2 hari seminggu (lintah tak suka bising, tak suka orang sibuk-sibuk mai datang..tak suka buat orang susah..) .

tokey busat punya (squat) is calling his anak buah.. whilst tokey separuh busat (half squat) is looking eagerly. i'm not so sure the exact words/mentera (if any) ...but i was thinking it should be like p. ramlee baca jampi mentera bukak pintu gua lerrr......

so tengok tu... lintah datang terus mengejar nak jumpa tokey busat punya...

Innalillah...belut yang menjadi santapan lintah untuk darahnya. belut diternak di satu kolam khas, bukan untuk dijual, tapi untuk lintah. (tu yang timbul peribahasa LINTAH DARAT -- bloodsucker -- sedut sampai habis..). satu lagi peribahasa ialah TELINGA LINTAH.

as i said earlier, in general, leech can be used as medicine & therapy and good for migraine, arthtritis, painful joints, curing infertility, improving brain circulation, plastic surgery, blood clot, muscle tension etc.....so, you take one leech and place it somewhere to your neck and let it suck your blood...!!! (ha ha ha no lah, no no no... just kidding, you better go and ask expert ok...warning warning warning)

dah alang-alang sampai ke banting/jugra, buat promosi sikit untuk kerajaan negeri selangor -- mai datang ke pantai kelanang -- pantai yang masih berdara, berbanding dengan pantai morib dan pantai bagan lalang. infra di pantai kelanang cukup - toilet, tempat makan, camping site etc, cuma orang tak berapa tau..

HARI TERBUKA TUDM DI SUBANG

Subang / Subang Jaya / Kampung Melayu Subang / Glenmarie (Shah Alam) dalam 2, 3 hari ni riuh rendah dengan jet pejuang, jet fighter, "kerebau" dan beberapa jenis kapal lain yang terbang rendah atas pokok kelapa. Anak-anak saya berlari sana sini (dalam rumah) nak tengok.

Bunyinya kuat sangat ke Kudin? Bunyi macam apa?

Peh... bunyinya memang kuat betui, bunyinya macam bunyi kapal terbang lerrr...

Saya panjangkan pengumuman dari friend's blog (malaysian defence). So, jangan lepaskan peluang ke TUDM Subang, 1 Jun 2008!

For those living around Klang Valley especially near Subang look out for the 50-aircraft fly past in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of RMAF this Saturday. The Sukhois, Fulcrums, Hornets and the other air assets will be in Subang for the show, on Saturday and Sunday. The base is only open to the public on Sunday though.

So if you are free and want to have a closer look at RMAF air assets and want to see another aerial show, go to the Subang TUDM base (use the Shah Alam way) on Sunday morning to join in the Open Day. Otherwise head out to Subang airport near the Kampung Melayu Subang to watch the planes land.
